India was destroying the Islamic and historical heritage in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.Farooq Haider

The AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan categorically rejected the Indian sham elections and said elections could not be alternate to right to self-determination.

Addressing the 53rd anniversary of Raja Haider Khan here on Yesterday he said India was destroying the Islamic and historical heritage in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Mosques were being martyred while properties of the people were being destroyed. He wondered why international community was not taking notice of all these brutalities of Indian forces in IOK.

He appealed to the UN to play its role for safeguarding the Islamic and historical heritage.

He said parliamentary party was united hence there was no danger to the government. Safeguarding the rights of the people and service delivery to the masses of the State was priority of his government, he added.

He said we need to strengthen the country and its economy. He said he does not want to interfere into the politics of Pakistan.

“Raja Muhammad Haider Khan lived entire his life with honesty and believed in fair means of livelihood. He urged the youth to always look for fair means of livelihood and get use to hard work for the success here and hereafter.

The Prime Minister expressed his resolve to rid Muzaffarabad from drug peddlers and other criminals.

Addressing on the occasion speaker LA Shah Ghulam Qadir paid rich tributes to the political and social life of Raja Haider Khan and said he was the name of courage, bravery and strong character. He dedicated his life for Kashmir liberation struggle and struggle for completion of Pakistan. He spent all his life while serving the suffering humanity, he added.

Raja Abdul Qayyum Khan, Barrister Iftikhar Gillani, President Haider Memorial Association Raja Muhammad Mumtaz Khan, member Kashmir council Sardar Abdul Khaliq Wasi, Mufti Kafayat Hussain Naqvi, Raja Muhammad Hanif Advocate and others addressed on the occasion.

Ministers Raja Abdul Qayyum Khan, Barrister Iftikhar Gillani, Raja Muhammad Naseer Khan, Mushtaq Ahmed Minhas, Ch. Javed Akhtar, Ch. Rukhsar, Dr. Mustafa Bashir Abbasi, Raja Muhammad Siddique Khan, Ch. Muhammad Ismail, Ch. Muhammad Saeed, Raja Javed Iqbal, Noreen Arif, Dy. Speaker Sardar Amir were present on the on the occasion.
